Extra Time Goal Sinks US, Ghana Last African Team At 2010 World Cup
The Ghana national football team is through to the next round of the 2010 FIFA World Cup with an extra period goal over the United States. The Americans failed to break their trend of failing to win a World Cup game when trailing.
The Americans gave up an early goal again to Kevin Prince Boateng in the sixth minute. Boateng streaked down the left side, and beat Tim Howard on his near post from outside the penalty area for the early score. The United States defense looked weak on the play, failing to close down the run.
Ghana and the United States are familiar foes, their last World Cup meeting coming in the 2006 tournament in Germany. After opening with a 3-0 loss to the Czech Republic and a 1-1 draw with the Italians, the Americans fell 2-1 in that tournament in an identical result to Saturday’s match. Clint Dempsey scored the only American goal in that game, and created a chance in the 62nd minute.
Dempsey went down in the box when he and Jonathan Mensah got tangled up near the penalty spot. The challenge earned Mensah a yellow card, and Landon Donovan a penalty shot. Donovan kept a cool head, and stuck the ball in off the right post to bring the Americans level.
The match was forced into overtime and the Black Stars struck first on a volley from Asamoah Gyan. Gyan out-ran his Rennes teammate Carlos Bocanegra and snapped a quick shot over Howard’s head. The American defense once again failed to close on a breakaway that was really something from nothing.
“We did it before,” Gyan said. “We did it in 2006.”
There was no late drama this time for the Americans this time. The best chance they could muster was in the 98th minute when Maurice Edu failed to convert a header off Donovan’s corner kick.
The United States has now failed to come from behind to win a World Cup match 29 times in history. The Yanks were definitely poised to take the “comeback kids” tag after coming from behind to tie England 1-1 and Slovenia 2-2 in the first two games of the group stage.

Coach Bob Bradley said his players were prepared for Ghana, but just couldn’t break the Ghanain defense for a second time.
“A stinging, tough defeat,” U.S. coach Bob Bradley said. “We knew Ghana was a good team and we didn’t get the job done.”
Ghana is the last team from Africa remaining in the draw at the World Cup. They will face the winner of the match between England and Germany.
USA sportsbooks have set the English as the slight favorites to win the match at +165 odds. The underdog line for the Germans is set at +175, and the over/under for total goal in the match is set at 2.
PayPal Co-Founder Claims He Is Broke
Once a major player in the world of online gambling payment processing, PayPal was later sold to eBay for $1.5 billion and its co-founder Elon Musk now claims he is broke.
Musk, who cashed out for $200 million, says he invested his last $35 million in Tesla Motors — just as the company prepares to go public. Tesla Motors is an electric car manufacturer based in the Silicon Valley of California. They recently purchased the former NUMMI factory in Fremont, California, where it will build the Model S sedan and future Tesla vehicles.
Musk’ is considered one of the biggest entrepreneurial success stories of the past decade, Janean Chun of AOL Business points out.
Could it be that divorce done him in?
As part of his divorce proceedings, Musk reported he had just $8,255 in monthly income and $650,000 in liquid assets, with $200,000 per month in expenses.
Chun writes: "Some may speculate whether the public admission is connected to the fact that his ex-wife was asking for the house, alimony, child support, $6 million, a cut of Tesla and stock in SpaceX — or if Musk is truly broke. But it’s not a classic riches-to-rags story just yet: SpaceX has a contract with NASA worth $1.6 billion, and with Tesla’s IPO rumored to take place next week, the Times reports that if all goes well, Musk could walk away with $21 million and still own 65 percent."

Political Issues Giving Online Sportsbooks Something To Talk About
By Wednesday, June 23rd 2010, a U.S federal judge has to make a decision on whether or not to lift the 6 month moratorium that President Obama implemented. If the oil spill itself wasn’t enough, residents along the gulf coast that were employed on and around the oil rigs are out of work due to the moratorium. B.P has set aside $100 million dollars to compensate the workers effected by the drilling ban, but the money is not making it there quick enough.
The owners of the oil rig are looking into other options with other countries to explore and drill for oil. Which means the 6 month moratorium could effect unemployed oil workers for much longer. It is still unclear what impact that the oil drilling ban will cause on the Gulf Coast’s economy since we are still in the beginning of the layoffs. The uncertainty of how long the moratorium will last has also added to the confusion of the entire affair.
President Obama has visited business owners and residents of the gulf coast area several times over the past few weeks, but is still getting harsh criticism over his reaction to the oil spill disaster. Both Republicans and Democrats have stated that our current president is not knowledgeable enough in situations such as the oil spill, to react as quickly and as effectively as the American people would hope from a president. Comments have gone as far to say that Obama has over stayed his welcome as President and his time in the White House will be short lived.
In fact the American people are so disappointed in the results from the leader of our country, that they are counting down the days until election. Online sportsbooks are offering entertainment betting lines as to who will be next in line to take over the role as President Of The United States.

Another Delaware Casino Adds Table Games To The Menu
Bill Fasy, who is the president of Delaware Park Casino is looking forward to the implementation of table games in his casino, as he refers to it as “going all-in”.
“The market is not that large, but I do believe it strategically helps us to compete with Pennsylvania right now and the opening in Maryland in the fall,” he remarked.
“When we first put slots here, many people thought that would create problems,” he added. “It has not, and I don’t think table games will be any different.”
The introduction of more table games will broaden the gaming industry in the state of Delaware, which should do well for Delaware Online Casinos as well, bringing the gaming industry in the state full-circle.
